When you visit Ann’s Fine Gifts in Memorial Kirkwood Shopping Center, you’ll find a nice selection of places to eat! Make it an outing when you shop at Ann’s, then have a bite at one of these eateries:
Urban Kitchen has a large and varied menu and cheerful atmosphere. We’ve been for dinner, but Urban Kitchen is open for breakfast and lunch, too. Why not try it for brunch on the weekend?
Last week, Ann and Bill, owners of Ann’s Fine Gifts, ate dinner at Pizaro’s Pizza Napoletana, the new restaurant to open in our center. And OH! WAS IT GOOD!
Owner Bill Hutchinson and his wife, Gloria, and son Matthew brought over a HUGE oven from Naples, Italy, and installed it in their restaurant. It’s a wood burning oven and heats to 900 degrees, so your pizza is ready is about 90 seconds. In addition to the special oven, Bill makes HIS OWN MOZZARELLA CHEESE every day. EVERY DAY!!! With the combination of fine ingredients and crisp crust, you are sure to make Pizaro’s your new favorite pizza joint.
Ann had the “Patata e Funghi” (Potato and mushroom) with truffle oil. Bill ordered the Margherita (tomato sauce, mozzarella, basil) and Sarah had the “Sweetpea” (caramelized onions and bell peppers, olive oil, and mozzarella). And we ate every scrap of each 12″ pie! See what’s on the menu by clicking here.
Pizaro’s is in the same shopping center as Ann’s at Kirkwood and Memorial Drive. Come try it! You’ll love it! Ciao!
