New Thymes fragrance: Temple Tree Jasmine

New at Ann’s this week is a Thymes fragrance called “Temple Tree Jasmine.” It’s a blend of rather exotic florals and comes in pretty packaging, making it a lovely gift. Temple Tree Jasmine fragrance is available in hand and body wash and lotions, hand creme, and bath salts envelopes.

But what exactly IS “Temple Tree”? We did a little research. Temple Tree is another name for plumeria or frangipani, blossoms on a tree native to India that are very fragrant. Other florals in Thymes’ “Temple Tree Jasmine” are honeysuckle, ylang-ylang, Damask rose oil, and coconut milk. Oh, and jasmine, of course. Here’s what these look like:

: Temple Tree blossoms, aka plumeria or frangipani, are very fragrant and native of India, where they are Buddhist symbols of immortality.

: Jasmine flower is night blooming, tropical and has a heady floral scent.

: Also known as the Bulgarian rose, precious rose oil is steam distilled from fresh-picked flowers of the Damask rose.

: Highly fragrant native of Indonesia, ylang-ylang is customarily strewn on wedding beds for honeymoons.

: Coconut milk is high in natural oils to make your skin smooth and soft. It has a light, creamy fragrance.

Royal Apothic, authentically English

Ann’s new line of luxury perfume is a tale of discovery. Found in a dusty top shelf of a London antique shop was an 18th century apothecary manual with the secret formulas of what became Royal Apothic. This modern reincarnation of concoctions from the 1700′s brings you the perfumes once made for the royal houses of Europe!
