She will love getting one for her collection!

New Hobo Bags

The hobo style bag is a good shape for many women….enough room for all your stuff and it carries tucked under your arm.  Ann’s new Western Hobos are tooled leather.  Zip top. You don’t have to be a cowgirl to wear one!  Several colors, approx. $125 each.  (More western styles here.)

Also comes in reverse: dark brown on top, tan on bottom.

Staffordshire Chintzware

Chintzware is a pottery decorated in a colorful fabric pattern resembling Chintz fabric.  It has been produced in England since the 17C and is high collectible.  The most sought-after chintzware produced  in the 20th century came from Staffordshire, England.  That is the origin of Ann’s pieces, produced within the last 20 years.   As there is very little being made today, these pieces are quite special.  Do you know someone who would appreciate one?

Small Clocks

In today’s world, there is a clock on everything electronic.  Yet being able to glance at an old-fashioned clock is reassuring and certainly easier than punching buttons on your I Phone.  We recently stayed in a nice hotel with bedside radios, and daily I wished instead for a simple clock that I knew how to work!  (I forgot to pack my travel clock.)

Here are a few small alarm clocks that travel easily.  All are quartz (battery operated).   Keep one in your suitcase for your travel needs.   We like to tuck one here and there around the house…in the bathroom, on the kitchen counter, beside the TV, ready to tell you the time the good, old-fashioned way.
